Integral Life Practice: A 21st-Century Blueprint for Physical Health, Emotional Balance, Mental Clarity, and Spiritual Awakening

Integral Life Practice: A 21st-Century Blueprint for Physical Health, Emotional Balance, Mental Clarity, and Spiritual Awakening

If you haven’t discovered Ken Wilber, this book would be a good introduction to his works and insights.  The title may sound “new age,” but in fact, what Wilber has been trying to develop for decades now is a holistic system, an integral philosophy, that has genuine spiritual depth and roots.  Indeed, there are few critics as fierce as Ken Wilber when it comes to wooley-headed, self-indulgent “new age” thought systems. The guy is brilliant, about the smartest guy I’ve ever read, but his philosophic and intellectual work are grounded in a genuine and deep spiritual practice that embraces the best in East and West.  I don’t always agree with Wilber, but I’m always challenged by his writings in the best way.  His integral approach to the great problems of life resonates deeply with me, and his new book looks like yet another step forward in clarifying his vision of how to live a truly integral life.
